Life coaching helped me live a fuller life.
Are YOU ready to live your true life?
The real voyage of discovery consists not in the seeking out new landscapes but in having new eyes.
How transformational coaching can help you?
- You will have a safe space to be heard and validated without judgment, which is your first step towards transformation.
- I will take you on a pragmatic journey of self-exploration.
- We will focus on actions and solutions in a collaborative way.
- You will feel empowered to make changes that feel right for you.
- I can help you move from where you are now to where you want to be in the future.
- As you begin to transform how you see things, you will start to transform how you live your life.
Why talking to friends and family is different.
- Your feelings and decisions impact those close to you so that will affect how they respond or how much you filter what you say.
- Friends and family feel the need to give you solutions and advice in order to help. No solution fits all.
- You will feel a duty to hear and help them in return when you hardly have it in you to cope yourself some days.
- You fall into repetitive old patterns of arguments when you or someone close to you feels blamed and defensive.
How life coaching helped me
I expressed how I felt a lot with my friends but I still found it hard to decide things for myself or follow advice that didn’t feel right for me. I would then feel uncomfortable complaining that I was still in the same negative cycle when I hadn’t followed the advice given to me previously. The experience of going to a life coach was invaluable. It helped me gain the insights I needed to see where I was holding myself back and empowered to make the changes I had always wanted. I found life coaching so helpful that I trained and qualified as a transformational coach with Animas, who are fully accredited by the world’s leading coaching bodies, and I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
I can now share these strategies with other women worldwide in both English and Arabic while working from my home in Cambridgeshire, UK.
WORKING WITH ME
I believe that in order to feel more peace and balance in life, we need to rediscover what gives us joy and find small steps to help us get our mojo back. My acting and comedy background bring fun and creativity to standard coaching methods.
Wonder Woman has been a source of inspiration since I was a young girl. My children knew I loved my converse trainers that had Wonder Woman printed on them and surprised me with a full costume for my birthday!
“Where on earth would I wear it?” I thought but once I allowed myself to toy with the idea, an opportunity presented itself. We were heading to Blackpool to see a colleague in Mamma Mia the musical and so I packed my costume and changed into it the next day when we visited the amusement park.
It was an adrenaline rush for me to push myself out of my comfort zone and a fun surprise for my kids, which will remain as a beautiful memory for years to come.
I feel Wonder Woman was the first female superhero to empower women to rescue themselves and create a more adventurous life, which is now at the heart of what I do as a transformational coach for women.
The pose Wonder Woman has with her hands on her waist is, in fact, a Power Pose. Research has found that we can change how we feel with what is called a body-mind nudge. Assuming the body language of a powerful person can actually increase your sense of power and even lower cortisol levels.
Are you ready to find the wonder woman in you?
If you do not take control over your time and your life, other people will gobble it up
Everyone has a life script and mine has been a roller coaster of episodes full of action, romance, adventure, comedy and DRAMA. I have experienced fame, motherhood, difficult relationships, loss and grief with all the highs and lows that come with any life story.
I grew up in Jordan as an only child with an Arab father and British mother before training as an actress in England. I married soon after graduating from drama school and returned to the Middle East. Experiencing contrasting cultures from an early age and growing up with the belief that we must put everyone else’s needs before our own lead to a pattern of unconsciously people-pleasing that left me depleted and in need of change.
After returning to the Middle East, It was a struggle finding my way. Eventually though, I succeeded in making a name for myself in the entertainment industry as a TV presenter, singer and actress.
Nine years later, I became a mother to my two beautiful children. The pressure of performing in front of live audiences and facing rejections from casting directors paled in comparison to the demands of parenthood. Juggling both worlds felt impossible and staying at home had it’s own set of pressures.
So many other mothers I knew were facing similar challenges; trying to be super mums by balancing family, children, relationships, run a household and work.
This was when I began my own personal journey of self-discovery. I learned and practiced Mindfulness, Reiki, Transcendental Meditation and even earned a black belt in Taekwondo! However, what helped me the most was finding a coach and discovering the negative patterns that were holding me back from living the life I wanted. I now have lifelong practical tools and coping strategies to work through difficulties with awareness.
A session with Rania was like letting go of a pressure cooker inside my head.
Rania holds a safe and professional space for her client. She demonstrated some really lovely coaching skills, including focused listening, simple powerful questioning, reflection, recapping and exercise facilitation technique.
Animas centre for coaching
Being listened to and having my experiences validated has been a gift. Rania was able to cut through my negative self-talk with insightful nuggets I could take away.
Rania creates a talking ‘space’ that is open, where I feel able to speak without fear of judgement. This has enabled me to fully reflect on my expectations of life and of myself, and the perceptions I have of my own actions and beliefs. This has been really useful and has led me to make the most of my time and to concentrate on things that really matter to me, rather than things that I think should matter. Rania’s strength was her empathy- particularly around motherhood.
Fees are arranged at the time of the initial discovery call.
